International Data Corporation (IDC) reported that the top reason why Indonesian manufacturers hesitated to adopt internet of things (IoT) solutions is because of the lack of skills among their employees.
Business leaders are afraid that despite the investment, their employees will not be able to use the technology thus gaining values out of it. Following that reason, manufacturers also pointed to the lack of funding, concerns of security, and the inability to integrate with existing applications.
